Stop looking at Rihanna 's half-naked bod for just one second, we've got some news!In less than one month, we'll be graced with some of music's finest artists (and some interesting outfits, we're sure) performing their greatest hits of the year at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.

Included in that star-studded list is the "Talk That Talk" singer , who will be belting out that sexy voice—while hopefully wearing something similar to her workout gear—onstage. But she won't be alone.

She will be joined by four studly fellows!

The Recording Academy announced this morning that Ri-Ri will perform a duet with Coldplay on Grammy night, singing "Princess of China," off the band's Mylo Xyloto album.

"#RihannaNavy My friends @ColdPlay and I will be sharing the stage for a performance at this years Annual Grammy Awards! #BONKERS," she tweeted .

Rihanna scored four Grammy noms this year, for Album of the Year ( Loud), Best Pop Vocal Album ( Loud), and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for both "What's My Name?" (with Drake) and "All of the Lights" (with Kanye West, Kid Cudi and Fergie).

Meanwhile, Coldplay is up for three awards, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Paradise," and Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall."

Rihanna reportedly spent a whopping EIGHT HOURS shopping at Topshop in London yesterday.

The Te Amo singer, who's boyfriend Matt Kemp joined her for the shopping spree, hit the Oxford Circus flagship store yesterday for a mammoth spend-up.

Rihanna wore a white-tutu style skirt and a black cropped top, with the slogan She Died Of Perfection on it, while Matt opted for a casual sports jacket and jogging bottoms.

Before hitting the shops with Kemp, RiRi tweeted: "On my way to London's TOP SHOP in Oxford Circus, meet me at the personal shoppers level!!!!!"

RiRi and Matt arrived and the store to meet and greet competition winners and didn't leave until the singer had searched every shelf.

The Umbrella hitmaker is said to have left with 15 shopping bag full of clothes.

Meanwhile, Rihanna confirmed that she has worked on a track for her new LP, Loud, with ex-boyfriend Drake, telling Radio 1Xtra that she may even shoot a video with the Your Love singer.

20 Aug, 2010 - "Love the Way You Lie," the combustible single by Eminem and Rihanna that depicts a violent cycle of domestic abuse and dependency, is undoubtedly the song of the summer. It has been on top of the Billboard singles chart for five weeks running.
For good reason: The song resonates with the life story of both protagonists, what with Eminem's stormy relationship with his wife, Kim, and Rihanna's brutal beating by then-boyfriend Chris Brown in 2009. Perhaps the song's strongest asset is its searing hook, sung by the Barbadian R&B star, who played an action-packed show Wednesday to a 20,000-strong crowd of mostly teenage girls at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden. The lyrics seem to take comfort in the plight of the abused: "Just gonna stand there and watch me burn/That's OK, 'cause I love the way it hurts.'

Those lines have caused an uproar among pop cultural police who would prefer that Rihanna - or any popular artist - put forth only socially redeeming messages rather than depict a full spectrum of psychological complexity.

But anyone under the erroneous impression that "Love the Way You Lie" indicates that Rihanna is content to play a victim's role would have been quickly disabused of the notion by the avenging-angel theme brought to futuristic - and militaristic - fashion-forward fruition in her "Last Girl on Earth" tour.

Emerging onstage from the middle of a collection of vertical LED banks and strapped with a guitar modified to resemble a machine gun — which she "played" for a couple of minutes — it seems that Ke$sha is trying to send us a message: she is a naughty, naughty girl.

But don't let Ke$ha's Clockwork Orange-inspired eye makeup fool you: there's nothing deviant about her vapid party girl lyrics, though she clearly has a knack for writing infectiously catchy tunes, the kind designed to get lodged in the back of your brain for obnoxious stretches of time.

Take her delightful ditty Dinosaur: "Old man why are you staring at me/Mac on me and my friends, it's kind of creepy/You should be prowling around the old folks' home/Come on dude, leave us alone..."

Not exactly Joni Mitchell. Then again, nobody endorses creepy old men save for creepy old men, so no harm, no foul. And the young girls in the crowd enthusiastically shouting the chorus, "D-I-N-O-S-A, you are a Dinosaur!" made it clear that Kei$ha's lyrics are right on the money.

Unfortunately, her penchant for auto-tune and heavy reliance on tracking vocals made it difficult to tell whether she can actually sing. A betting man might say she's just another overproduced studio singer whose 15 minutes will Tik Tok away tout suite. Time will tell. And if that's the case, hopefully Kei$a's smart enough to save as many dollar signs as she can before the clock runs out.

Rihanna, who took the stage almost 30 unfashionable minutes late, floated out from the back of the stage in a long black dress covered in red LED lights that looked like it might have taken roughly that amount of time to get into. It was quickly stripped off though to reveal a racy number underneath for Hard, while a sextet of dancers writhed on top of a pink tank and Rihanna straddled its long barrel.

Fiji television has banned Rihanna's latest music video because of its "raunchy scenes".Fiji television has banned Rihanna's latest music video for being too raunchy. The video to Rihanna's latest song Te Amo shows the singer posing provocatively in a black corset and stiletto boots, and dancing suggestively with a scantily-clad French supermodel.

Fiji's Minister of Education, Hon Filipe Bole, said the video involved "raunchy scenes that make one's stomach cringe with disgust".

"To expose [young children] to adulterated music clips ... is no less than showing pornographic materials to them," he said.

He called for Fiji's free-to-air TV station Fiji One to be more responsible in selecting the programs it aired.

As a result, Fiji TV group chief executive Tarun Patel agreed to remove Rihanna's video from Fiji One's playlist.

"We have advised our programming team that this video clip 'Te Amo' featuring Rihanna will no longer be broadcast in on our free-to-air channel," he said in statement.

Patel also stated that Fiji One will use a tighter screening process to decide what videos it would play in the future.

The record exec made the bold claim in a Vibe blog post, stating that the 22-year-old’s next release will rival the legendary ‘Thriller’, which remains one of the biggest sellers of all time.

“Rihanna is coming along incredibly,” Thiam wrote. “I’m trying to push her to where every song will be a hit from one to 12. I’m talking about NO album fillers. Our bar for this album is Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’.”“She’s great to work with and very hands on with every song that’s being written and produced,” he added. “She has visual concepts for just about every song. Today's hairstyles are vibrant and exciting! Thinking back on how limited we've been in past decades (with one style representing what was en vogue), it's evident that we've expanded our hair-fashion horizons.

Haircolor has emerged as an artform and new cutting techniques and tools have exploded the creativity of stylists. We now draw from all of the past decades for inspiration and then bring it up a notch with modern methods.

With so many incarnations of hair history to select from, we cycle through them like children playing dress-up with the contents of an old trunk in the attic.

The result? New hair trends.

Let's look at a bit of what we'll be seeing in 2008...

Hair Styles/Styling

Vintage 20's and 40's inspired styling is hot for 2008. Pared down glamour. Sophisticated, elegant waves... A polished look with a low key "regal" quality.

Strong, blunt fringes or soft sweeping bangs (heavier than in the past) make a modern statement this year. And blunt fringes of shorter lengths play into the vintage feel that is popular now. If your hairstyle needs a boost, but you're not sure which direction to take it, try adding a fringe (either long or short). This one simple change can dramatically alter the feel of a hair cut.

Texture is all over the map. Stick-straight locks with the addition of a lash-skimming, blunt fringe transforms straight hair into a high-fashion showpiece.

Peaks and swirls add interest to cropped hairstyles. The faux-hawk is a good example of "peaks." To freshen up the look, bring the peak over to the side more, in keeping with the "at the side" trend for 2008.

A swirling motion creates incredible texture, while making a strong individual statement. The swirls can also showcase haircolor in a way that no other styling technique can.

Curly Hairstyles

On the Formal Side

There's a move toward demure low chignons, secured at the nape with height in the crown/back. Bangs can be swept across the forehead or pulled back from the face in a sultry wave.

Side-styling is growing in popularity too... hair swept off to one side, ending in a collection of curls or waves or a loose, messy bun secured below the ear.

The silhouette of updos (and hairstyles in general) is wider, with more volume in the back and at the sides, while maintaining just a bit of height in the crown.

Hair Color

Deeper shades are hot for spring... golden blondes, mocha browns, and wine-inspired reds (both warm and cool tones).

Dimensional color, with multiple tones applied in varying widths, is hot again this year. The contrast between tones is played down compared to recent versions though.

Create more drama by adding contrasting highlights or lowlights underneath or through random interior sections. This application results in a "convertible" color which can be played up or toned down depending on how you style your hair on any given day.

At this year's Grammy awards, the red carpet was chock-full of stylish celebrities in their most extravagant gowns and couture accessories. It's no wonder the paparazzi were out in full-force to catch glimpses of 2008's musically inclined. Here were some of the top style trends for the fabulous 2008 Grammy Awards...
